THE GREATEST GIFT

YOU'LL EVER RECEIVE

Salvation Through Jesus Christ

You are loved by God.

You were created for a purpose.

And Jesus Christ has made a way for you to experience forgiveness, a new beginning, and eternal life.

Maybe you've known about Jesus all your life.

Maybe you've attended church for years.

Or maybe you're just beginning to wonder if God is real and whether He cares about you.

Whatever brought you here, I want you to know something:

God loves you, and He wants you to know Him personally.

1. GOD LOVES YOU

The Gospel begins with God's love.

Jesus said:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16 (KJV)

Notice that word whosoever.

That includes you!

God isn't waiting for you to become perfect before He will love you.

He already loves you. In fact, He loved you so much that He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to make a way for you to come to Him.

2. WHY DO WE NEED SALVATION?

The Bible tells us:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." — Romans 3:23 (KJV)

Every one of us has sinned. None of us can earn our way into heaven through good works, religious activity, or simply trying to become a better person.

Sin separates us from God, and the consequence of sin is death. But that's not the end of the story!

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." — Romans 6:23 (KJV)

Notice something wonderful.

Eternal life is not a reward you earn. It's a gift you receive!

3. JESUS HAS ALREADY PAID THE PRICE

Here is the wonderful news of the Gospel.

God did not leave us in our sins.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came into this world, lived without sin, willingly gave His life on the cross, and rose again from the dead.

He took our place.

He bore the penalty of our sins so we could be forgiven and brought back into fellowship with God.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." — Romans 5:8 (KJV)

When Jesus died on the cross, He accomplished what we could never accomplish for ourselves.

And when God raised Him from the dead, Jesus conquered death.

The price has been paid. The way has been opened. Salvation is available to you today!

4. SALVATION IS RECEIVED BY FAITH

The Bible makes this wonderfully clear:

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." — Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJV)

You cannot buy salvation.

You cannot earn salvation.

You cannot become good enough to deserve salvation.

But you can receive God's gift by faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 tells us:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (KJV)

And verse 13 declares:

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

That is God's promise to you.

He's Calling You —

A Personal Invitation

Jesus is still calling people to Himself today!

I wrote He's Calling You to share a simple but life-changing message: No matter where you've been, what you've done, or how far you may have wandered, God's love is reaching out to you.

As you listen, I encourage you to open your heart to the message of this song. Jesus gave His life for you, and today He's inviting you to receive His wonderful gift of salvation.

He's calling you. Will you answer?

5. ARE YOU READY TO RECEIVE JESUS?

You do not have to wait until you get your life cleaned up.

You come to Jesus just as you are, turning from sin and placing your faith in Him.

If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and that God raised Him from the dead, you can call upon Him right now.

Prayer is simply talking to God.

These words are not a magic formula.

What matters is that you sincerely believe in Jesus Christ and place your trust in Him.

A Prayer of Salvation

Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the name of Jesus.

I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son.

I believe He died on the cross for my sins and that You raised Him from the dead.

I acknowledge that I have sinned, and I turn to You for forgiveness.

Lord Jesus, I receive You as my Savior.

I confess You as my Lord.

Thank You for loving me, for forgiving me, and for giving me the gift of eternal life.

From this day forward, I choose to trust You, follow You, and live by Your Word.

Thank You, Father, for receiving me into Your family.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

6. WELCOME TO A NEW BEGINNING!

If you have just placed your faith in Jesus Christ, you have made the most important decision of your life!

God's Word declares:

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

Your past does not have to define your future.

You now have a new life in Christ, and God desires for you to grow in your relationship with Him.

WHERE DO YOU GO FROM HERE?

Begin reading God's Word.

Start with the Gospel of John.

As you read, ask God to help you understand His Word and get to know Jesus more personally.

Talk to God every day.

Prayer is not about using fancy words.

It's about developing a personal relationship with your Heavenly Father.

Find a Bible-believing church.

Surround yourself with other believers who will encourage you, help you grow, and teach you the Word of God.

Tell someone about your decision.

Share what Jesus has done for you.

You don't have to know all the answers to tell someone that you've placed your faith in Christ.

Keep growing in faith.

Salvation is the beginning of a wonderful journey of learning who you are in Christ and discovering the promises God has made to you in His Word.

A PERSONAL WORD FROM CLAY

I've spent more than four decades sharing the Word of God, and I can tell you that there is no greater message than the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It doesn't matter where you've been, what you've done, or how many times you've failed.

Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost.

You are not beyond the reach of God's love.

My prayer is that you will not simply read about the gift of salvation, but that you will personally receive the One who made it possible.

Jesus is calling you. Will you answer Him today?

Your Past Is Not Your Future — In Christ, All Things Are New!

God's Word declares:

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)

What a wonderful promise!

When you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, your past no longer defines who you are.

Your sins are forgiven, you become a child of God, and a brand-new life begins!

I wrote All Things New to celebrate this powerful truth.

No matter where you've been or what you've done,

God's grace is greater than your past.

As you listen...

let these words remind you of who you are now in Christ.

You're forgiven.

You're loved.

You're a new creation in Jesus Christ!
